The guitar is very beautiful, well constructed,with a powerful and balanced sound....a sound that opens up with every hour of playing. I had a great luck to play in a 10string for the last 2 years,so I can make the transision to alto quite easily. If you have a score, it should be straightforward to make an arrangement for alto.
