Midi files for Weiss and others 6 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 1
Iv'e just started doing some arranging/transcribing and inspired by Robert Barto's youtube
performance of the Weiss Allemande in F#minor (Dresden 23) I'm almost finished
the transcription for the Alto. This is just the kind of piece that I'd hoped to be able to tackle on the alto- it is mature and expansive and pretty impossible on a 6 string. The problem is it can takes ages to typeset!
I use Daniel Forget's excellent lute site for the tab and a basic Django output notation and
in some keys this works fine but for this piece I wanted to try out other keys and a lot of inputting time could be saved if I had the basic midi files. Does anyone have or know of source of midi files for Weiss and other Baroque composers?
